Alright, Lady Felicity Chandlish is renowned for her polite and civil manner.  She'll talk to me.

CB:  Thank you for agreeing to this interview.

Felicity:  You are most welcome.  With all the negative publicity the Protectorate is putting out, this will give everyone the chance to know us as people.

CB:  Who are the Protectorate?  I've heard the name, but know very little about them.

Felicity:  They are a group that reports directly to the Prime Minister, Cassandra Sylvester.  Their leader is Richard DeGuire and they've become something of a thorn in our sides recently.

CB:  As a lawyer, how do you feel about the rash of new laws they have passed in the Prime Minister's name?

Felicity:  It is unfortunate.  Florence has always been a nation built on the idea that together we can overcome any obstacle.  Now, thanks to The Protectorate, our country has become divided.  I fear they will stop at nothing short of war.

CB:  Doesn't the prospect of war worry you?  Isn't Valentria outnumbered?

Felicity:  Of course we wish to avoid conflict if at all possible.  A civil war benefits nobody.  As for being outnumbered, yes, I suppose we are.  But we have allies the Protectorate are unaware of, and of course there's Raven.

CB:  Raven?  Your sister?  How can one person turn back an entire war?

Felicity:  *smiles mysteriously*  She's a lot stronger than she lets on.

CB:  I see.  Thank you for your time Lady Chandlish.
